  • Is you child starting school in September 2025?

    Reception admissions for the academic year starting in September 2025 
     
    As you may be aware, the primary school (Reception) admission round opened on Monday 4 November 2024, for parents of children to apply for a Reception school place for the academic year that starts in September 2025. 
     
    The statutory national closing date for applications is 15 January 2025. 
     
    Applications can be made online via www.essex.gov.uk/admissions.   

    All of the application information is available on the website above. 

    The website www.essex.gov.uk/admissions also has a copy of the Primary Education in Essex 2025-26 booklet and the Schools Admissions Policies Directories contain details of all admission policies.

    04/10/2024 – 9.45am

    08/10/2024 – 9.45am

    17/10/2024 – 9.45am

    22/10/2024 – 9.45am

    School tour on Saturday 2nd November 2024 – 10am – 12pm.  There is no need to book on this day, please just turn up at the entrance to our School Office.

    We are able to take 8 families per tour, please email jricontact@compassps.uk to book onto one of the above dates. If we are at capacity for your chosen date Mrs Price will offer an alternative.

  • 3 tees cricket festival

    Our children took part in 3 tee's cricket games recently and all were fantastic!

    Lots of good hitting, great teamwork and we all had a lot of fun.

    We recently attended a multi-skills festival. We took part in archery, dodgeball, hurdles, football darts and boxing! The children had an amazing time, and we are very proud of them. Well done!

  • Den Day 2024

    Our Infant School's Den Day was a fantastic success, filled with creativity and fun! Children and their parents spent the day on the school field, collaborating to build imaginative dens ranging from cozy cat cafes and castle to protective shelters from dinosaurs. The event was well-attended, and it was heartwarming to see families working together, sharing ideas, and bringing their innovative visions to life. The spirit of teamwork and imagination truly made this day special for everyone involved.
